BDK‘s activities are mainly based on a non-formal and experiential learning-based approach. In order to reach the main needs of its primary target group (youth with social/economic/cultural obstacles at the local level), BDK organizes several local and international projects. Being a Youth, Culture and Art Association, the majority of its expression of actions are based on artistic ways. In regard to gender-themed projects and events, BDK focuses on: – Gender roles in employability of young women; – Gender violence and increasing awareness-raising on the topic among the local community and through use of art.
