YEU has extensive experience in working with youth and youth workers through non-formal learning methodologies promoting inclusive societies through approaches, values and understanding within various topics. It does so to ensure the quality and recognition of its projects and activities by and for young people including youth workers and YP from diverse backgrounds across and beyond Europe as well as to providing safe environments for young people to voice up and actively participate in debates and topics relevant for their daily lives. Besides gender equality being core values and a strategic priority implemented across all of its activities, It was done by exploring intercultural dialogue and gender diversity as a subject for their everyday work and having the participants engaged in the questioning of current and promoting new practices by (re)thinking and (de)constructing cultural and gender concepts.
